I won! Over the weekend, Mage received the 2010 Darrell Award for Best Novel!
Tammy and I had a terrific time at the MidSouthCon 28 banquet, and met some very nice folks — though I cleverly managed to forget my handy-dandy bookmarks to pass out to interested inquirers. Ah, well. Lesson learned.
Nonetheless, I'm truly grateful and honored for this recognition, and wish to reiterate my deep appreciation to everyone who's lent their encouragement and support.

Just thought I'd let you know I'd dropped by and read your excerpt 'Niel'. Very captivating. Now I'll have to put your book on the top of my list to buy. Payday is tomorrow and a bookstore visit is in order.
